This is a place for short(ish) arguments and other pieces, and hopefully a bit of constructive debate and discussion as well.  I don’t intend this to be a home for heavily-researched articles – everything is generally off the top of my head, with the aid of a bit of searching to get certain details right.  Much will be inspired by things I have seen, heard and read, people I have spoken to and long walks around Barnstaple.  Please don’t expect any particular piece to be an original piece of thinking, it’s all second-hand in one way or another.
